Time for Showings
It's showing time!
You are going to want to prep your house just like we did when pictures were taken. Lights on, window shades and blinds open, TVs off, etc. we want to make it as inviting and "homey" as possible. We want to showcase all the highlights and best parts of your property, not saying we are going to hide the negatives, as you still have to disclose those on sellers disclosures, but we want to showcase all the great parts of your home!
Keep in mind that your home probably isn't the only one that the buyers are going to be viewing that day, so they might be slightly early, or late depending on what their schedules/timing has been. I recommend heading out 15 mins before their showing time and then when you come back home, if they are still at your home, just park down the street and wait for them to head out. Please, please don't come home early and "crash" their showing. It doesn't go well and who knows, that might be the reason that they dont buy your home (some buyers can be quite petty about things like that).
